That's because we have custom built our own private, high
speed residential network , the largest and fastest you'll find anywhere in
northern Michigan.
How did we accomplish this ?
For starters we crawled through the attics, drilled down, and "fished"
over 10 miles of network cable inside our buildings in order to provide a
dedicated internet connection for each apartment and suite. Each building
also received a high speed network switch.
Then to build our network "backbone" that connects the buildings to our main office, we pulled and installed over 9,000 feet of fiber optic cable and installed several wireless point-to-point bridges.

does this mean for you ?
You get quick, easy, convenient access to the internet.
As a resident you can readily use our system - use the network cable for your
computer and plug into your wall jack. That's it!

Tourville purchased two high speed carriers to bring the internet to your computer.
One feed is a pure 1.5Mbs T1 line. Nationwide, most home internet users would give their eye teeth to have a T1 connection.
.....and it gets even better :
Our other feed is a 3.0 Mbs connection from Charter Communications. Yes, that's 3 Mbs, DOUBLE the speed of a T1 line.
These two feeds come into our main office. We combine them to give you a truly unique high speed link to the internet.
How
do you benefit ?
In addition to the unmatched speed we described, the uniqueness of having two
completely different carriers also gives you a safety net - should one carrier
go down temporarily, our
hardware automatically switches you to the other feed.
